HOURLY PLAY PERIODS
Please note: Please bear in mind the comments below regarding older children and don't let the prospect of them being present in large numbers during the school holidays. The vast proportion of attendees at Happy Hours are in the younger age group from about 12months to 3 or 4 years, even when the schools are out. Furthermore, older children who do attend, generally behave quite well, with some rare exceptions, as you may expect. Incidentally, they are usually in company with younger siblings when they are playing.
There are no formal play periods at HAPPY HOURS, just turn up at any time when open. Pay appropriate hourly charge, stay for as long as you wish, paying further charges as you go along. Any time between 9.30am and about 3.30pm are ideal for the pre-school children, although other times are generally fine also. After 3.30pm, we tend to get a few older children in after school, but we can say that it's extremely unusual to have any disruptive children in, and the older ones, (slightly older, that is), tend to be careful with the smaller ones. In fact, some of the little girls like to 'mother' the toddlers. It's a really friendly atmosphere. If the photographs give the appearance that it may be too much of a challenge to tots & toddlers. Believe us, it certainly isn't. After a couple of visits, the average 15 - 18 month children manage to find their way around. At quiet times, minders are allowed into the play area, to boost their confidence (the children's, that is). Charges per Hour Under 9 months admitted free of charge.
